U.S. ENERGY TARGET HIT — MASSIVE EXPLOSION ERUPTS AT ONE OF AMERICA’S LARGEST REFINERIES — BOOMS HEARD MILES AWAY

A Valero refinery in Port Arthur, Texas just erupted into flames after a reported explosion, and the footage is unreal.

    • One of the largest refineries in the U.S. (~335,000 barrels/day)

    • Massive fireball and thick black smoke pouring into the sky

    • Residents say the blast shook homes and rattled windows

    • Shelter-in-place warnings issued as the situation unfolds

This isn’t some small facility… this is critical U.S. energy infrastructure going up in flames.

If this isn’t an accident… what does that mean for what comes next?

Smoke is rising above an oil refinery in the United States and locals are being told to shelter in place after an explosion rocked the facility.

The incident happened at a refinery in Port Arthur, Texas, owned by the fuel company Valero. It employs about 770 workers, according to its website, and produces 435,000 barrels per day, processing it into gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.

The city, with a population of about 56,000, is located in the southeast corner of the state. Its police and fire departments have told residents in the west side of the city to take shelter, and the Texas Department of Transportation has told drivers to avoid the area, but there are no evacuation orders at this time.

“To ensure the safety of all residents in the vicinity in light of the recent explosion at the Valero Refinery, an immediate shelter-in-place is ordered,” said the fire department.

“For your safety, please remain in place until the all clear is given by emergency personnel.”

The high-tech drone swarms have been reported repeatedly flying over sensitive U.S. military installations, including bases housing nuclear-capable B-52 bombers. These drones have conducted coordinated reconnaissance, forced flight line shutdowns, and demonstrated resistance to jamming, posing a significant security threat, with incidents reported at locations such as Barksdale Air Force Base.

Key Details on Advanced Drone Incursions:

    • High-Level Technology: The drones are not typical, off-the-shelf, or “hobbyist” models. They are described as custom-built with Advanced knowledge of signal operations.
    • Sophisticated Behavior: Drones have been observed operating in multiple waves of 12 to 15, conducting hours-long surveillance over sensitive areas like Barksdale Air Force Base, which houses B-52 bombers.
    • Threat to Security: These drones are Resistance to jamming and have a much longer range, making them difficult to stop.
    • Surging Incidents: There is a growing trend of these mysterious drones, with incidents reported over critical infrastructure and bases, raising concerns about potential foreign, state-actor involvement.
    • Operational Risk: The presence of these drones disrupts, requiring flight line shutdowns and creating potential dangers for manned aircraf

Unidentified, sophisticated drones, appearing in waves of 12–15, have been flying over sensitive U.S. military installations like Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. These high-tech drones operate for hours, display, long-range capabilities, resist jamming, and appear designed to test security responses rather than being recreational, posing a significant security threat.

Key Details About the Drone Activity

    • Locations: Incursions have occurred over major strategic installations, including Barksdale Air Force Base (nuclear command/B-52 bombers) and Fort McNair in D.C..
    • Capabilities: These are not common “off-the-shelf” consumer drones. They are described as having long-range control links and advanced, custom-built designs.
    • Behavior: The drones appear in waves, navigating around sensitive areas, including flight lines, in a manner suggesting deliberate surveillance or mapping of defense systems.
    • Security Impact: The incidents have forced the temporary shutdown of flight lines and triggered increased force protection levels (such as Level Charlie at some bases).
    • Investigation: The military and federal law enforcement are investigating, suspecting that these could be intelligence-gathering operations conducted by foreign actors, DefenseScoop notes.
    • Timeline: Multiple waves of sightings occurred in mid-March 2026, building upon a growing trend of similar incidents at U.S. bases in recent years
